Flights
Listed below are some of my top flight travel hacks and websites I use when booking flights across the world!
Highly devoted to finding you the best deals, the team at airfarewatchdog searches over 20,000 routes every day. Not only do they find great deals for you, they make sure the flight times are short and have limited or no layovers! Prices are always subject to change, however with instant alerts you’ll never miss a great deal!
You’ll want to start your search with no particular destination in mind. Sounds complicated right? Not with The Flight Deal. Select your departure airport and you’ll see amazing deals to places all over the world! Only publishing flights that are 6 cents or less a mile, you’ll never break your wallet for a roundtrip ticket!
This is a website designed to save you nearly 90% on international round trip tickets! To qualify for these deals there is a yearly membership fee of $49. Once a member, enter your departure airport and let Scotts Cheap Flights the rest! They’ll send regular updates on extraordinary deals to places all over the world!
Accommodations
Listed below are some of my top ways to find the best accommodation no matter what budget you are on.
Hostelworld is a global hostel-focussed online booking platform with over 17,400 hostel properties across more than 178 countries! All of the hostels have been rated by previous occupants on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the best. Be sure to read the reviews, because once in a blue moon the rating doesn’t match the quality of the hostel.
Your accommodation is only three simple steps away with AirBnB. Connecting you to hosts all over the world, you’ll be able to find the perfect place. Have an entire place to yourself or just rent a room from a local, the options are endless. Another perk of AirBnb, is typically it is much less expensive than getting a hotel room.
By taking away the hassle of comparing places to stay, booking.com accomplishes their main goal: Making it easier for people to travel the world. Comparing prices of a total of 28 million properties in over 70 different countries, you’ll be sure to find the perfect place at your exact budget!

Books and guides are great to have while traveling in any new place! Books help keep you occupied during long journeys. Guides help keep you informed on what to do, where to eat, and where to stay. The downside, they weigh a ton and take up too much space.
Thankfully for technology, books and guides are available online.
